Online OnCountry Gallery – ‘an exhibition of Aboriginal Contemporary Artists’

Online OnCountry Gallery – an exhibition of Aboriginal Contemporary Artists is a curated digital exhibition of work created by four professional Aboriginal artists from regional NSW.

Exhibiting artists for the inaugural Online OnCountry Gallery exhibition are: Warwick Keen (Gomeroi/Gamilaraay), Brentyn Lugnan (Gumbaynggirr) and Frank Wright (Gamilaroi), and Michael Brogan (Badtjala/WakkaWakka).

The showcase exhibition, which brings the work of this group of high calibre artists together in one space for the first time, provides some insight into the great range and quality of contemporary art being produced by NSW Aboriginal artists. It also reflects the broad and dynamic nature of the cultural footprint of this region.

Online OnCountry Gallery – an exhibition of Aboriginal Contemporary Artists launched as an online NAIDOC Week event. The exhibition was complemented by a program of online artist talks and conversations (links below).
